Director

Marius is the director of Kruger & Co. He holds the degrees of BA from Stellenbosch University and an LLB from the University of Natal as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Tax from University of Cape Town. He qualified as an attorney and conveyancer in 1982 and practised as a general practitioner from that date until 1989 when he moved to Cape Town. In Cape Town he joined the firm Kruger and Marais and began to take an interest in and to specialize in personal injury claims.

Jason began his academic career at university studying psychology. He achieved the degrees BA (Honours) in Psychology but subsequently decided his future lay in law. He then completed an LLB degree and subsequently a Master’s degree in law. Jason is also a notary and conveyancer. He has practised as a personal injury lawyer for 20 years.

Nicola graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1997 with the degrees BA and LLB. She then commenced doing her articles at the Cape Town firm of Henry Shields which specialized in personal injury work particularly against the Road Accident Fund. She spent two years in Cape Town and then moved with her husband to Atlanta, in the United States where she was involved with law. She returned to South Africa in the early 2000’s and joined Kruger & Company where she continues to practise personal injury law.

Betsie has worked in the legal industry for 30 years. In 2000 she obtained the degree LLB and qualified as an attorney. She initially worked as an attorney at Sandberg Nell were, she did claims against the Road Accident Fund. In 2005 she joined Kruger & Co and since then has specialized in personal injury claims arising from motor vehicle accidents, medical negligence, and train accidents.

Expert Attorney

Leo Kelder qualified as an economist at the Erasmus University Rotterdam and began his career as an economist working at Sanlam. He decided however his talent lay in law and qualified as an attorney. For years he practised for his own account in Bellville. In 2007 he joined Kruger & Company and has specialsed in personal injury work since then.

Willie has been in law since he left school. He began as a clerk at the Springs Magistrates Court and worked his way up to become a registrar at the Pretoria High Court. In this time, he was awarded a bursary and studied to complete his LLB. In 1998 he left the court to join the Road Accident Fund as a claims handler. After a few years of experience at the Fund Willie decided he wanted to be in private practice and completed his articles in Cape Town and was admitted as an attorney in 2006 and has specialised in personal injury law for the past 25 years.

Danine graduated from the university of Pretoria with a degree LLB. After her articles she practiced for her own account in Pretoria. For family reasons she relocated to Cape Town eight years ago and has since been working for Kruger and company doing Road Accident fund claims and Estates.

Alisha graduated from the University of the Western Cape in 2013 with an LLB. She then joined the Road Accident Fund as a claims handler where she worked for two years. She the joined the Legal Aid Board doing a variety of work in the criminal and social field. Two years later she joined Kruger & Co. and has been dealing with claims against the Road Accident Fund on behalf of injured people.

Candidate Attorney

Max is currently a candidate attorney. He graduated in 2019 with the degree LLB will be admitted in 2021. His current focus is on his legal career, gaining further experience and his further studies.
